David A. Mills

DESLOGE- David A. Mills of Desloge was born March 20, 1954 at Bonne Terre and began his celebration of life with those gone before him on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the age of 59 years. He joins his father Oren "Peewee" Mills and father-in-law Raymond Edgar. David will be remembered for his many talents, particularly his music, but also for his uncanny ability to love and show love to others no matter who or what the situation may be. His life touched the lives of so many others throughout his 59 years that it would be impossible to gauge just how far his love reached. David, indeed you were on Jesus's mind Tuesday and when he called you recognized his voice and answered, Heaven's gain and our loss. Those who remain here to celebrate his life: "the one who loved him the most" for 26 years, wife Sandy (Hardy) Mills of, sons Travis Hardy, Tim (Emily) Hardy, daughter Tracy (Marcus) Laut. Papa's babies Celeste, Caroline, Rome, Jake, Owen. Mother Jewell (Mills) Parker, sister Diane (Jim) Ely, brothers Danny Mills, Doug (DeAnna) Mills, numerous family members and a multitude of friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends at the Christian Life Church on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A celebration of David's life and a musical tribute (eulogy) will begin at 6:00p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home to defray medical and funeral costs. Arrangements are under the directon of Horton-Wampler Funeral Home. David would want you to remember, "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." A Celebration of Life
