Darrell Wayne Miller

LIBERTYVILLE Darrell Wayne Miller, of Farmington, passed away from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Washington County on January 5, 2017 at the age of 61. He was born on April 23, 1955 to the late Harry Eugene Miller and Esther Marie (Wade) Miller, who survives.

Darrell was a 1973 graduate of Farmington High School. He worked for Trimfoot Manufacturing for twenty plus years and then went to work for Redwing Manufacturing in 1998 where he was employed at the time of his passing. An avid outdoorsman, Darrell loved hunting, fishing, gardening and biking. His family was very important to him and he cherished the time he spent with them.

Survivors include a daughter, Erica Lynn Miller; his mother, Esther Miller; two grandchildren, Hayden Wayne and Hayley Lynn, all of Farmington; sisters, Kathy (Roy) Tesereau of Fredericktown, Patty (Bob) Long of McClure, Illinois and Lisa (Randy) Detring of Farmington; a brother, Stanley (Sue) Miller of Fredericktown; special cousins, Billy and Gayla Miller of Farmington; numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins and co-workers. Also surviving are special close friends, Jim and Erma Harrelson and family.

Friends may call Monday, January 9, 2017 from 5 8 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. until the time of the service beginning at 10 a.m. with Pastor Mike Haney officiating. Interment will follow at Libertyville Christian Cemetery.
