Daniel August Evans

FARMINGTON Daniel A. Evans of Farmington passed away September 19, 2020 at his home at the age of 40. He was born in Farmington on August 21, 1980 to Daniel Paul Evans and Phyllis Jean Gibson. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Gibson; paternal grandparents, June and Pete Evans; an uncle, Paul Long and a cousin, Bradley Gibson. Daniel was a 1998 graduate of Lesterville High School and worked in the construction business. Daniel was an artistic person and known in the local music scene, playing the bass in several bands. His outgoing nature was evident from the many friends he made through the years. He brought joy to whom ever he met and he was a friend to all. He will be missed by many. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Tatum and Torin Evans; loving son to Phyllis Gibson and Dan (Tina) Evans; brother of Douglas Evans, George Seidl, Paula Petri, Stacy Halton and Kathy Lawrence and grandson of Paul Gibson. Also surviving are aunts, uncles and he had a special bond and love for a group of fun-loving, camping cousins that will never be broken. There will be a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Viburnum Baptist Cemetery preceded by a visitation at the cemetery beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 with Brother Jason Bahr officiated.
