Damon Shawn Cooke

DESLOGE Damon Shawn Cooke of Desloge passed away April 8, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Desloge at the age of 42. He was born April 21, 1976 in St. Louis, MO to the late Leeman and Sandra (Hurt) Cooke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Troy Hurt. Damon was an amazing father to his daughter, Riley. He was a free spirited old soul who loved life. He enjoyed skateboarding, music and hanging out with his friends. Damon loved to laugh and everyone knew him as a jokester and prankster. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Damon is survived by his daughter, Riley Cooke of Warrenton, his best friend, Cody Runyon of Warrenton, two half sisters, Amy Hurt and Patricia Hurt and many friends. Private services are being held.
