Daisy Marie Coffey of Farmington passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Claru DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown, at the age of 85 years. She was born August 3, 1925, at Irondale, the daughter of the late George William and Ellen Catherine (Adams) Merrill. On September 6, 1969 she was married at Overland, MO to Dale Everett Coffey, who survives. Daisy was a talented beautician and owned and operated her own beauty shop in Overland for several years. Daisy and Dale later moved to Bonne Terre where they lived until moving to Farmington in 1998. Daisy was a faithful member of the Dogwood Chapel at Lake Timberline. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, traveling, tending to her flowers and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, Sharyn R. Talley of Farmington, and Lynn E. Bone of Bismarck, a sister, Patsy Ruth Maxwell of St. Ann, two grandchildren Karen Horn of Bismarck and Dawn Pogulis of Blue Springs, three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday May 13, 2011. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 7 a.m. with a funeral at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
