Cora Mae Poteete

FARMINGTON- Cora Mae (Cooper) Ely-Poteete of Farmington passed away, Tuesday, December 9, 2015 at her residence at the age of 41. She was born at Ste. Genevieve on August 28, 1974. She was preceded in death by a sister Jessica "Becky" Cooper in 2011.

Cora is survived by her children: Austin Ely, Jordyn Ely, Cyla Ely and Taylor Poteete all of Farmington; her parents Loyd D. & Donna L. (Claussen) Cooper of Farmington; three brothers, Brent Cooper of the State of Hawaii, Jason (& Kristen) Cooper, and David Cooper both of Farmington, a sister, Heidi Killian of Fredericktown, her dear friend and constant caretaker, Linda Cagle of Farmington, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Church of The Open Bible on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 3 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Donna L. Cooper officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made in care of the Church of The Open Bible, 201 S. Henry St. Farmington, MO 63640 to help defray funeral expenses.
