Connie Joyce Jensen

Connie Joyce Jensen of Knob Lick passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010, at the age of 74 years. She was born on June 20, 1936, at Farmington, the daughter of the late John Leslie and Margaret Victoria Faye (O'Bannon) Hubbard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Jensen; a son, Mike Jensen and a brother, John Hubbard. A life long resident of the area, Connie made her home in the Knob Lick area where she raised six children. In earlier days, she was active in the musical community where she sang and played with various local bands during the 40's and 50's. In more recent years her favorite pastime was spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Connie is survived by four sons, James Wooldridge (Claudia), Jerry Wooldridge, Robert Wooldridge and John Wooldridge (Tami); a daughter, Jeani (Mrs. J. C.) Roberts; six grandchildren, Christy, Andrea, Christopher, Kiersten, Tori and Brady; six great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jaden, Kyleigh, Zachary, Logan and Tyler; and a brother, Tom Hubbard (Juanita). She also leaves behind her dedicated caregivers, Linda, Melissa, Rose and Susanne. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning from 7 a.m. until the beginning of the service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Donn Adamson officiating.
