Colby Neal Martin

Colby Neal Martin of Park Hills passed away on January 2, 2011, at the age of 34 years. He was born on September 9, 1976, at Salem, son of Gleneal Gifford Martin and Beverly Roseann (Clemonds) Jenkins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Casey Martin and two grandfathers, Buster L. Clemonds and Luther G. Martin, and a grandmother, Ruby Berry. Colby graduated from Central High School in 1994. He enjoyed camping, hiking and all outdoor activities, as well as spending time with his daughter. He was a friend to everyone and never knew a stranger. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his father, Gleneal Martin of Park Hills, his mother and step-father, Beverly and Glynn Jenkins of Farmington, a wife, Tarra (Mahurin) Martin, a daughter, Bridget Martin, both of Park Hills, a sister, Courtney Martin of Farmington, a grandmother, Anise Clemonds of Annapolis, three nieces, Megan, Ivy and Lily, and a nephew Zachary. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Friday with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
