Claradine Hill

FARMINGTON Claradine Hill of Farmington passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 85 Years. She was born on February 5, 1930 at Frankclay daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Talley) Hays. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Eaton and Velma Doke, and two brothers Clifford and Norman Hays.

Claradine was a long-time and faithful member of the Farmington First Baptist Church. She was retired from the Southeast Mental Health Center where she was employed as a Registered Nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering at the Ministerial Alliance Thrift Store. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her six children Diane Gray, Donna Carpenter (& Dave Resnik), Judy Green (Steve Mell), Janet (& Kenny) Denison, Jeannie (& Bruce) Currington, and Joseph (& Carrie) Hill, two brothers Donald and Gene Hays, fifteen grandchildren, Tara Gray, David Gray, Moriah Gray, Krista Sells, Ryan Spakes, Kyla Smith, Dave Cowley, Sherry Pinkley, Scott Denison, Greg Currington, Brad Currington, Jennifer Robinson, Eric Currington, Sara Cole and Joey Kernan, 38 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, a dear special friend Mary Hull, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume after 7 a.m. on Monday and continue until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Dr. William Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Copenhagen Cemetery near Farmington. Memorials, if desired may be made to Farmington First Baptist Church, Serenity Hospice or the American Alzheimers Association.
