Cynthia Gail McDaniel of rural Farmington, passed away Monday September 19, 2011, at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, at the age of 53 years. She was born December 10, 1957, at Madisonville, KY, daughter of Lula Belle (Wilson) Wiles and the late William Earl Wiles. Cindy spent her childhood in Kentucky until her family moved to Missouri in 1971. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1976. She worked for many years as the manager of the Southeast Missouri Telephone Credit Union. She also worked in the business office at the Eastern Reception Diagnostic & Correctional Center in Bonne Terre. Cindy was a life-long and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a loving and devoted wife and mother. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. Cindy will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her mother, Lula Wiles; husband Michael D. McDaniel; three sons Chris McDaniel, Eric McDaniel, and Marcus McDaniel; three grandchildren, Andrew McDaniel, Angalena McDaniel and Bailey McDaniel; three brothers Douglas Wiles and his wife Susan, Brian Keith Wiles and his wife Jenny, and Lee Wiles. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends and neighbors. Cindy's family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Farmington Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the church with Bishop Don Blum Jr. presiding. Burial will be at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
