BISMARCK Christopher Neal Golden, of Bismarck, entered into eternal rest on April 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 50. He was born on November 27, 1972, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late David Golden and Leslie (Phares) Gunning. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Ginger (Johnson) Golden, his children, Jordan (Taylor) Golden of Park Hills, Clayton (Melissa) Golden of Park Hills, Tanner (Lexi) Smith of Bonne Terre, and Raven (Drew) Jaco of Park Hills, his grandchildren, Mason, Tucker, Carter, Briella, Liam, Raylea, Stetson, Waylon and Sage, his brother, Billy (Erin Sales) Golden of Farmington, his grandmother, Shirley Phares, his stepfather, Mike Gunning, his former spouse and mother of Clayton and Jordan, Paula Golden, his special friends, Chad and Laura Wade, Jerry and Dawn Currington, and David Eads, along with numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law, friends, and his special canine companions, Scout, Bluebell, and Peony. Chris was the owner of Elite Concrete, a beloved business in our community for seventeen years. He passed down his love and perfectionist eye of concrete and construction to his boys. In addition to passing down many qualities to his sons, he passed down his personality, hard work ethic and hunting skills to his daughter, Raven. Any time he wasnt on the job site, bidding jobs, or taking calls about a job, he was in the woods hunting deer, turkey, or coons with his kids and grandkids. Above all, family came first. He loved nothing more than being with his wife, Ginger, by going on evening road rides and spending time at home together and being surrounded by his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed giving them a hard time and would be there for them for anything they needed. Chris enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially his best friend since high school, Chad Wade. Chris will be remembered for his old school soul, his thoughtful and giving nature, and his overall strong attributes. Chris will not only be missed by his entire family but the entire community as well. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg McCord officiating.
