Charlotte Ann (Cissell) Morris of Farmington, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, passed away Friday January 21, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital after a long illness, at the age 69 years. She was born April 30, 1941 at Farmington, daughter of the late Herman and Nettie (Vessell) Cissell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death a granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Morris, seven brothers Marvin, Bobby, Herman, Melvin, Joe, Ed, and Phil Cissell, and a sister Darlene Sitze. Charlotte was a life long and faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington, and a 1959 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High school. On August 21, 1959 she was married to her high school sweetheart Harry L. Morris. Over the years Charlotte volunteered in the school cafeteria, and at the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry. She was employed as a Certified Nurses Aide, working at several different area nursing homes over a period of twenty years, most of that time at the Presbyterian Manor. Charlotte will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her, which includes her husband Harry L. Morris of Farmington, three sons Bob Morris of Farmington, Jerry (Ladonna) Morris of Farmington, and Tim (Julie) Morris of Salado, TX, three granddaughters, Kellsey Morris, Laurie Morris, and Ainslee Morris, three sisters Mary (Clarence) Skinner of Herculaneum, Ollie Cissler of St. Charles, and Rosie (Farouk) Fouad of the State of Georgia, and one brother Jim Cissell of the State of Georgia. Many other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Monday January 24, 2011 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Holy Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Dyer officiating.
