Charles "Charlie" L. Dawson of Farmington, MO passed away Tuesday May 25th, in St. Louis, MO at the age of 75. He was born July 13th, 1945 to the late Richard Lee and Alma (Fraser) Dawson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Jimmy Dawson and Donald Dawson. Charles was a retired truck driver. Charlie enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, playing drums, singing solos in church and when he was able, singing at the local Buffalo Wild Wings in Farmington. Charlie loved Elvis, and one of his favorite quotes he would use after his performance was "Thank You, Thank you Very Much" Survivors include his children Charles Dawson, Charlotte Dawson of Pueblo, Colorado. Rick (Jana) Dawson of Festus, MO. Missy (Tim) Johnson of Festus, MO, Chrissy Lewis of Pevely, MO, Tommy (Amy) Dawson of Jackson, MO. His beloved grandchildren Chloe Dawson, Kennedi Lewis, Sophie Lewis, Payton Johnson, and Bentley Dawson; two sisters, Ida Taylor of Farmington, Becky Goodman of Desloge, MO; one brother, Guy Dawson of Farmington, MO, several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are many friends. St. Louis arrangements were handled by Kutis Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on June 19th at 2 p.m. at the Farmington Presbyterian Church.
