Charles Wayne Jennings

FARMINGTON – Charles Wayne Jennings of Farmington passed away on December 20, 2024 at his home at the age of 66. He was born in St. Louis August 13, 1958 to the late Edgar Jennings and Sylvia Lorraine (Rivers) Jennings.


Charles grew up in DeSoto where he went to high school. Soon after high school he went into the Army and proudly served his country stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington. When Charles returned to civilian life he learned the trade of HVAC. He dedicated thirty years to his occupation of heating and cooling. He was a giving person who helped many people when needed. Charles was an accomplished woodworker who found much enjoyment from his skill. In his spare time, he liked to fish and hunt.


Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Rose Mary (Redmond) Jennings; a son, Charles Edgar (Julie) Jennings of Festus; Julie Jennings of Herculaneum; Anthony Jennings of Herculaneum and Ethan Jennings of Farmington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Cindy (Kent) Hill of DeSoto and Charlene Noll of Bonne Terre.


A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday, December 30 at 11 a.m. with full military honors. Share your condolences and memories at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
