Charles 'Mike' Whitaker

MINERAL POINT Charles "Mike" Whitaker of Mineral Point passed away on June 19, 2020 at his daughter's residence at the age of 84. He was born in Knoble, Arkansas on May 21, 1936 to the late Nellie and Charlie Whitaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Hauck) Whitaker, his daughter, Donna Pratt, his son, Steven Whitaker and three sisters and a brother. Mike enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid animal lover. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mike is survived by his children, Michael Whitaker of Jefferson City, Bernadine (Jonathan) Comfort of Irondale and Kimberly Whitaker of Mineral Point, his grandchildren, Nichol Robinson, Amber Comfort, Molly Comfort and Michelle Whitaker along with nieces, nephews and friends. No formal services will be held per the family's request.
