FARMINGTON Charles Leroy Colvin of Farmington, Missouri passed away on May 8, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson at Crystal City, Missouri at the age of 74. He was born June 20, 1941 in Morgan County, Missouri to the late Ray and Juanita ( Bradshaw) Colvin.

"Charley" as most knew him was a prison guard at the state prison both in Kansas City, Missouri and in Farmington, Missouri. He also had a side business for many years called Ten and Up Unlocking which was a locksmith business. Charley enjoyed his pet dogs and his ongoing mission to try to win the lottery.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Shirley (Stephenson); two daughters, Rena (Paul) Watts of Jefferson City, Missouri and Tina (Michael) Sidden of Madisonville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Josh Watts, Caleb Watts, Conner Sidden and Madeline Sidden; his mother-in-law, Ruth Stephenson and a host of extended family.

Friends and family may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 12 2 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri with Pastor Mike Harrison officiating.
