Charles E. Hart

Charles E. Hart passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the age of 93. He was born on September 19, 1920, at Flat River, son of the late Horace Edwin and Millie (Dreier) Hart. Charles had been a life long resident of the area. He proudly served his country during World War II. Upon his return to Missouri he was employed in the mining industry and retired from St. Joe Lead Company. Many will remember him as being an avid golfer and he enjoyed painting landscapes as a hobby. Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Nelson) Hart; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended relatives. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory. Arrangements are pending at this time.
