FARMINGTON - Charles Wayne Davis passed away to his eternal home on February 15, 2025, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 59. He was born on February 1, 1966, in Orange County, California to the late Joseph Green Davis and Deloris Jean (Usher) Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Davis on December 15, 2015; and four brothers, James, Norvil, Clifford, and John Tracy Davis.
Charles resided at Hidden Acres Assisted Living. He was a very outgoing person who made friends easily and never met a stranger. He loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed going to church at First Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve. Among his hobbies, he enjoyed playing video games and watching the Cardinals play baseball.
Survivors include his siblings, Brenda Womble, Belinda Bauer, and Geary Davis; a host of nieces and nephews; special long time friend and brother-in-law, Melvin Barton; cousins and many other family and friends.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Pilot Knob Cemetery on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Immediately following the graveside service there will be a dinner at Catfish Kettle which was Charles’ favorite restaurant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pilot Knob Cemetery Upkeep Fee, P.O. Box 326, Pilot Knob, MO 63663.
