Charles 'Chuck' Albert Davis

FARMINGTON Charles "Chuck" Albert Davis of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on November 2, 2021, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 93. He was born on February 3, 1928, in Brownwood, Missouri to the late Albert and Maude (Gipson) Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacquelyn Davis Reed, his siblings, Arleva Baldwin, Gerry Manion, Geneva Foudor, Alvin (the late Jerri Dean) Davis, and Freeman (the late Mary) Davis, and his sister-in-law, Doris Davis. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Agnes (Stallone) Davis, his children, Sandy (husband, Andy) Romano of St. Louis, Jan (husband, Hank) Kinsey of Bonne Terre, and Charley Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, his grandchildren, Jessica Carroll, Joe (wife, Kiersten) Riffee, Jim Riffee, Nick (wife, Lauren) Romano, and Jenna (husband, Dustin) Clark, his great grandchildren, Danny Carroll, Jada Riffee, and Hailey, Allison, and Logan Clark, his sister, Betty Parker, his brother, Jim Davis, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends Chuck proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired as Vice President of Corporate Planning for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in St. Louis after 40 years of employment. After retiring, he spent his time raising Arabian horses and black angus cattle on his 160 acre farm. He enjoyed participating in horse shows, dancing with Agnes at the Casa Loma ballroom and loved golfing with his dear friend, Dr. George Oliver. He was a faithful Christian and longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Chuck will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 2:00pm at Calvary Cemetery, 5239 West Florissant Avenue, St Louis with Father James Dyer officiating.
