Charles 'Chuck' Adolph Moebus

FARMINGTON - Charles "Chuck" Adolph Moebus of Farmington passed away September 20, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 85. He was born in Desloge, Missouri on October 23, 1936 to the late Adolph and Lilian (Holland) Moebus. Chuck was a U. S. veteran having served his country in the United States Air Force. He was co-owner and developer along with his wife, Georgia, of Georgian Gardens Skilled Nursing Home in Potosi, Missouri. Having worked in the trucking industry, Chuck, was a member of the Teamsters Union with Trans Con, Ltd. For 56 years he donated his time, skills and love championing the care and rights of special needs and disabled children. He was a devoted, loving and caring husband and father to his wife and son. Survivors include his wife, Georgia (Miller) Moebus and his son, Lynn Moebus. He is also survived by a brother and nieces and other extended family.
