Charles A. Moore, of Palmdale, CA , passed away on August 5, 2006, at his residence with his family present, at the age of 68 years. He was born on November 28, 1937, in Doe Run, the son of the late Acey and Birdean (Williams) Moore. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Moore was a member of the Local 300 Labor Union. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working around his home and spending time with his grandchildren. He was very much the family man. He is survived by his wife of over 46 years, Wanda (Smith) Moore, three sons, Charles A. Moore Jr. of Belleview, MO, Jeff Moore and wife Carina of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Victor Moore and wife Angie of Reseda, CA, a daughter, Sue Black of Palmdale, CA, by six grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffrey Moore Jr., Christina Nicolle and husband Patrick, Brandy Vandreau and husband William, Yvette Condon and husband Josh, and Jenelle Moore, three great-grandchildren, Nicoli Condon, Danielle and Julia Nicolle. He is also survived by a sister Peachie Halter and companion Randy of Bismarck, three brothers, John Moore of Irondale, Melvin and Gilbert Moore both of Bismarck, and two very special nephews, Brett Flowers of Acton, CA, and Rob Adams of Hillsboro, MO. A host of others relatives and cherished friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2006. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harvey Buckley officiating. Burial will be at Bismarck Oddfellows Cemetery.
