Carolyn Sue Umfleet

Carolyn Sue Umfleet of Farmington passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the age of 58 years. She was born on December 26, 1953, in Galveston, TX, daughter of Loretta (Spain) Hutto and the late Ellis Alfred Hutto, Jr. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a son, Allen Fuller. Carolyn had lived in Farmington since the year 2000. She worked for Gilster Mary Lee's McBride Plant for approximately four years and was a homemaker. She will be remembered for her magnificent gardening skills. Her home grown tomatoes were always prize winners. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to some wonderful destinations such as Hawaii and Las Vegas. Survivors include her husband of ten years, Ron Umfleet of Farmington; her mother, Loretta Hutto of Friendswood, TX; her daughter, Carol Adams of Fredericktown; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Hutto, Bobby Hutto and Danny Hutto and three sisters, Debbie Gilmore, Linda Perez and Patty Martin. A memorial service will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory on Wednesday, February 22 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Lacey officiating.
