Carolyn 'Ginger' Ann Baechle

FARMINGTON Carolyn "Ginger" Ann Baechle, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on May 30, 2024, at Mary Queen and Mother Center in St. Louis at the age of 86. She was born on January 28, 1938, in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, to Theodore and Ann (Schweigert) Meyer. Ginger is survived by her children, Steven Baechle of Farmington, Christopher (Jill) Baechle of Eureka, and Lisa Carr of University City, her grandchildren, Melissa Baechle, Annelise (Jacob) Dougherty, Jake (Julia) Baechle, Aaron Baechle, Matthew Carr, Abby Baechle, Claire Baechle, Katie Baechle, Margaret Baechle, and Nick Baechle, her great grandchildren, William and Annie Baechle and Isla and Samuel Dougherty, her nieces, Brenda Noll and Linda Morris, along with many friends. Ginger is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Francis Baechle, her son, Eric Baechle, her brother, Jerry (the late Wanda) Meyer, and her nephew, Mike Meyer. Ginger was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was part of the Women of Mary. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Garden Club. She enjoyed cooking and spending time and going on trips with friends and family. She was also a talented floral decorator and designer. She will be remembered as being funny, outgoing, and very sociable. Ginger will be greatly missed by all who loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10 North Long Street, Farmington with Father William Thess as celebrant. Inurnment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, 7601 Watson Road, St. Louis, MO 63119.
