Carol Suzanne Weddle

FARMINGTON Carol Suzanne Weddle of Farmington passed on to her Heavenly home on October 26, 2021 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehab at the age of 77. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 30, 1943, to the late Robert Leon Mayberry and Eula Victoria (Morris) Mayberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Bruce, Clay and Lynn Mayberry and her former husband, Lyle H. Weddle. Carol graduated from Doe Run High School and went on to Mineral Area College where she received her degree in nursing. At the time of her retirement, she was an elementary school nurse for the Farmington School System. Carol loved flowers and enjoyed flower gardening. She also enjoyed quilting and had made many keepsake quilts for family members. A faithful member of Open Heart Assembly in Farmington, Carols faith was strong and she was a prayer warrior for anyone needing prayer. Survivors include her children, Laurie (Thomas) White of Cape Girardeau and Jeffrey (Patsy) Weddle of Farmington; her grandchildren, Victoria (Jason) Park, Tiffany (Benjamin) Fleming, and Mitchell (Kathy) Weddle, her great grandchildren, Kaylee (Alonzo) Jones, Hannah Park, Nathaniel Park, and Belken Weddle, her great-great grandchild, Kennedy Park; her sister, Helen (Richard) Duncan; her brother, Ted (Sue) Mayberry; special friends, Chrissy (Tim) Gibson; nieces, nephews and a host of beloved friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Open Heart Assembly of Farmington.
