Carol Meadows

FARMINGTON - Carol Meadows passed away on May 24, 2023 at Community Manor at the age of 82. She was born in Doe Run, Missouri on September 1, 1940 to the late Jack Williams and Stella (Mecey) Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Meadows and her siblings Opal Bartley, Patsy Moore and Jack D. Williams. Carol grew up in Doe Run where she graduated from high school. For nearly eight years she worked at the SEMO mental health before going on to be a secretary for Southway Motor Express and Easy Storage where she was employed for quite some time. She was an avid reader, loved crosswording and going to family events. She was a great cook whose specialty was homemade rolls and chicken and dumplings. Her sons will remember her as a beloved mother and their best friend. Survivors include her two sons Jerry (Lisa) Elser and Kelly Elser; special friends, Joan Hickman of Doe Run and Isabelle Jackson of Waterloo Illinois; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
