Carol Crocker

September 20, 1955 — October 1, 2017

CREVE COEUR Carol Ann Crocker, age 62, of Park Hills, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at BJC Evelyns Hospice House in Creve Coeur. She was born September 20, 1955 to the late Forest Elwood Haile and Jeanie Belle (Dunlap) Haile. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Haggard and her husband, Henry Haggard.

Carol was a school teacher for 31 plus years. She began teaching in Annapolis and moved on to Potosi where she taught for 28 years as the Industrial Arts teacher and the CAD teacher. During her career as an educator she touched many lives. Carol was the back bone of her family who she loved and cherished with all her heart. She loved the outdoors, camping, floating and fishing and vacations to the beach. Quilting and crafts, as well as flower gardening were among some of Carols favorite passtimes. Carol befriended many dogs and cats who she took in and gave homes to throughout the years. She could often be found reading a good book or working her Sudoku puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ralph "Burnell" Crocker; two children, Rachel Crocker and Devin Crocker; one sister, Connie Moon; mother-in-law, Wilma Crocker and sisters-in-law, Dianne Crocker and Connie Crocker; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Vistation will resume on Thursday morning at 7 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
