Carl Francis Steele II of Farmington passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN at the age of 43 years. He was born on July 22, 1964, in Joplin, MO, the son of Carl Robert and Beulah May (Smith) Steele. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lora Steele, two sons, Seth Steele and fianc Ashley Bowling of House Springs and Ethan Steele of Farmington, his mother, Beulah Pete Steele of Dearborn Heights, MI and his father, Carl Steele of Newton, AL, two brothers, Christopher Steele of Dearborn Heights, MI and Clayton Steele of Farmington. Also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Johnie and Wilma Strickland of Ste. Genevieve County, three nephews, Thor Mikal Steele of DeSoto, Kyle Scott Strickland of Ste. Genevieve County, and Heath William Strickland of Farmington, two nieces, Amber Nicole Steele of DeSoto and Kelsey Lynn Strickland of Ste. Genevieve County, two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Strickland and wife Angie of Ste. Genevieve and Lance Strickland and wife Elizabeth of Farmington. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel.
