Carl David Honerkamp

PARK HILLS Carl David Honerkamp of Park Hills passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Country Meadows Care Center in Park Hills at the age of 68 years. He was born on September 21, 1947 son of the late Joseph A. and Annabelle M. (Fink) Honerkamp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Verna Hartshorn and Norma Braun and a brother Marion Honerkamp.

Carl was baptized into the Christian faith at an early age in the Lutheran Church and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Hale, of Farmington; Joseph Honerkamp, of Farmington; Kenneth Honerkamp, of Springfield, MO; Helen Skaggs, of Fredericktown; Bob Honerkamp, of Farmington; Ronald Honerkamp, of Farmington and Gary Honerkamp of Farmington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with full Naval honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Paul Lutheran School or to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of the COZEAN MEMORIAL CHAPEL & CREMATORY.
