Candy Ulrich

FARMINGTON Candace Marie "Candy" Ulrich of Farmington passed away at St. Francois Manor on January 15, 2023, at the age of 67. She was born in St. Louis on June 25, 1955, to the late Albert Zurbriggen and Lucille (Smith) Zurbriggen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Neal Zurbriggen. Candy graduated from Maplewood High School and went on to Washington University where she received an Associate Degree in nursing. She spent her career working in hospitals and in long-term care for many years. Candy was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Matt (Caryl) Scobbie and Katie (Denis) Talley; four grandchildren, Sebastian Hoffman, Alyssa Henderson, Wyllow Henderson and Sawyer Talley; a sister, Leslie Howell; a brother, Scott Zurbriggen; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Cozean Memorial Chapel beginning at 12 noon followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
