Bryan Joseph "Joe" Sansoucie

STE. GENEVIEVE Bryan Joseph "Joe" Sansoucie, of Ste. Genevieve, passed away September 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family in his home at the age of 52. He was born February 1, 1964 in Festus, Missouri to the late Donald Lee Sansoucie and Bernadine Rose (Guenther) Sansoucie, who survives.

Joe, as most knew him, attended school in DeSoto through 8th grade and went on to high school at St. Pius X in Festus where he graduated. He was employed as a boat assembler at a boat manufacturing business in Imperial for more than 8 years. In his spare time he enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers. Joe had a real love for animals, especially his dogs. His family will cherish the memory of his great sense of humor.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his sister, Rita (Jimmie) Wofford, Farmington; two brothers, Wayne Paul Sansoucie, Ste. Genevieve and Kevin Neal (Jennifer) Sansoucie, DeSoto. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday morning in the funeral home at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington with Father Rickey Valleroy as celebrant. Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Weingarten. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
