Brenda Ruth Strege

FARMINGTON - Brenda Ruth Strege, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 38. She was born on February 16, 1984, in Janesville, Wisconsin to Edward Strege and Jeri Schleker. She is survived by her mother, Jeri Schleker of Farmington, her father, Edward Strege of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, her siblings, Luke (Christine) Strege of Farmington and Crystal (Allan Pinkerton) Strege of Oregon, three nephews, Mason, Griffin, and Jaxon, many friends, and her special canine companion, Tucker. Brenda received a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin - Parkside College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was previously employed as a social worker for the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. She was a people person who liked helping others and was a lover of animals and children. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. As an organ, eye, and tissue donor, Brenda gave the most precious gift as her final act of kindness and will continue to live on in those recipients that were blessed by her.
