Boiece Tee Barton Elkin

* REVISED DOE RUN Boiece Tee Barton Elkin, of Doe Run, entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2021, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington at the age of 77. She was born on May 16, 1944, in Frankclay, Missouri, to the late Thester and Lula (Mayberry) Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Anthony Changpo and her sister, Valta Gay Barton Turner. Boiece is survived by her husband of 49 years, Alfred Elkin of Doe Run, her children, Tony (and wife Diane) Elkin of Piedmont, MO, Michael Barton Elkin of South Carolina, Rena Elkin (partner Randy) Linn Creek, MO and LuAnn (and husband Dan) Kehlenbach of Maine, three grandchildren, Trenton, Zachery, and Payten, her sister, Diona "Ann" (and husband Charles) Wichman of Doe Run, nieces and nephews, Beth Collins, Steven Wichman, Alan Turner, Gale Turner, and Laura Nigl, along with many relatives and friends. Boiece was a member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints in Farmington. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Over the years, they visited six continents. She also loved reading in her spare time. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2pm at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
