Bobby Lee Dickey

IRONTON - Bobby Lee Dickey, of Ironton, passed away May 10, 2019 in Farmington at the age of 60. He was born August 4, 1958 in Farmington to Lois (Honeycutt) Dickey and the late Robert Dickey. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Dickey. A graduate of Farmington High School, Bobby attended Mineral Area College and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He spent many years in the home medical care equipment industry before going to work for the ERDCC where he was a prison guard in Bonne Terre until his illness forced him to retire. In his spare time Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, shooting guns and especially participating in black powder rendezvous events. He was a huge supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Survivors include his mother, Lois Dickey; daughter, Jennifer Conrad; son, Robert Dickey; grandchildren, Jason, Emma and Braedyn; special friends Robert Simmons and Joe Giles; as well as extended family and good friends.
