Blaine F. Jaeger of Farmington, passed away August 3, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born in LeCenter, Minnesota on October 31, 1921 to the late William and Amy Ruth (Darling) Jaeger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Marge Jaeger in 2011. Mr. Jaeger was a chemical engineer who had worked for FMC Corp. While employed with FMC he and Marge lived in 12 states as well as England and Ireland. In his younger days, Blaine attended Princeton and Cornell Universities. He held a life membership in MENSA, Ltd. During WWII , Blaine proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a lifetime member of the Farmington VFW Post 5896. He was a faithful member of the Open Arms Full Gospel Church in Desloge. Survivors include his niece, Cheryl Sutter of the state of Minnesota; two great nephews, one great niece, a special cousin, Harris I. Darling, Attorney, of Worthington, MN ; his dear friends, Norton and Benny Beilenson, and his dear caretakers, Roger and Debra Abbott. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
