Billy Lee Merryman

FARMINGTON Billy Lee Merryman, 82, passed April 3, 2018 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born October 14, 1935 in Bonne Terre to the late Clarence W. and Josephine M. (Herbst) Merryman.

Billy graduated from Farmington High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the Army Reserves. He retired after many years as the produce manager at Hecks IGA. A member of the Farmington Elks Lodge 1765, he was also a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. An avid fan of both the Mizzou Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals, Billy also enjoyed his pet dogs and cats. He was community minded and often gave support to various causes with- in the city of Farmington.

Survivors include cousins and extended family as well as many good friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6 at 11am followed by a funeral service at 1 pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Foss officiating. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scholarship Fund of the Farmington Elks Lodge #1765.
