Billy D. Boyd

Billy D. Boyd, 25, of Farmington, passed away January 14, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jefferson County, Missouri. He was born July 31, 1990 to Donald and Cheryla Boyd who survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Boyd, Norma and Billy Charles Crocker and a cousin, Samantha Buttrey.

Billy will be remembered for being a gentle giant whose kind and caring heart was ever present. He took great joy in helping others whenever he could. Cooking was both his passion and a career and he was happiest when he was creating new dishes. Billy was a proud member of the Mineral Area Order of Demolay; past state officer and past Master Counselor. He cherished the memories of having had the opportunity to twice travel to Germany.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his beloved sister Samantha Faye Boyd; Grandpa, Donald T Boyd, uncles, Michael Thomas Boyd, Ronnie Dale Boyd and Kevin Lee Boyd; aunt Charla "Crash" (Mark) Stroupe; his best friend, Beau Derque; numerous cousins and extended family.

A memorial service will be held along with a Demolay service beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
