Betty Virginia Webb

FARMINGTON -Betty Virginia Webb of Farmington passed away, Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 90 years. She was born June 4, 1923 at Elvins, daughter of the late Arch T. and Lucy A. (Sweeny) Hall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Eugene Webb, an infant daughter Yvonne Jaycox, son Robert Webb, four brothers Archie Hall, Lawrence Hall, Lyle Hall, and Marvin Hall and four sisters, Lillian Pounds, Sylvia Davis, Eva Moore and Glenda Hammers. Betty was retired from White-Rogers Electrical where she had worked as a Machine Operator. She was also a homemaker and a caregiver for many years. She was a long-time and faithful member of the Farmington First Assembly of God Church. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her including her six surviving children, Patricia A. Ellis (Warren) of Colorado, Archie L. Jaycox (Phyllis) of Hillsboro, Alice L. Hamlin (Ernie) of High Ridge, Tom Pounds (Mary) of Park Hills, Steve W. Pounds (Denise) of Farmington, and David W. Pounds of Park Hills, fifteen grandchildren, fifty-six great and great-great grandchildren, a sister Jean Lee of Park Hills, and numerous other relatives, friends and neighbors. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel on Wednesday with Pastor Kevin Davis officiating assisted by Pastors Joe Kochis and Hugh Cerutti. Interment will be in the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery at Doe Run. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Farmington First Assembly of God Church.
