Betty Puchbauer

Betty Jean Puchbauer passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 78 years. She was born on July 14, 1928, at Cape County, the daughter of the late Adam and Cora (Schoenebeck) Henry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Victor Puchbauer, a daughter, Catherine Puchbauer, a brother, Earl Henry, and a sister, Anita Smith. Mrs. Puchbauer was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ at Jackson, MO, and volunteered at Parkland Hospital as a Pink Lady. She enjoyed her family very much and was a lover of baseball and playing dominos with her friends. She is survived by a son, Stephen Puchbauer and wife Becky, of Perryville, three daughters, Mary Gunder and husband Willis, of Farmington, Vicki Puchbauer, of St. Louis, Amy DeSpain and husband Jeff, of Jackson, MO, three grandchildren, Sarah Boyd, Garry Gunder, and Emma DeSpain, two great grandchildren, Ian and Alex Boyd, and a sister, Olga Ludwig, of Jackson ,MO. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. at St. Johns United Church of Christ at Jackson, MO. A funeral service will follow at 11 .m. with Pastor David Schaffner officiating. Burial will follow at.St. Johns United Church of Christ Cemetery, Jackson, MO. Memorials may be directed to St. Johns United Church of Christ.
