PARK HILLS Betty Lou Cook of Park Hills passed away October 26, 2020 at Country Meadows Nursing Home at the age of 75. She was born on August 6, 1945 in Bonne Terre to the late Harry Amos and Edith Ida Clara Elizabeth (Brockmiller) McElvain. Betty is survived by her sons, Carl (Rachel) Cook of St. James and Mark (Kelly) Cook of Farmington, her grandchildren, Marissa (Lauren) Burrows, Kennedy Nolan, Blake Cook, Brady Cook, Daniel Cook, and Hadleigh Nolan along with many friends. Betty was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was involved in the church choir, the quilting group, Sunday school and preparing of church sponsored meals. She also belonged to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Betty enjoyed country music and dancing. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1 from 3:00pm until time of service at 5:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Private inurnment at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
