Betty June Fitzgerald

Betty June Fitzgerald of Farmington passed away on April 21, 2006 at Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center, at the age of 71 years. She was born on March 11, 1935, in St. Francois County, the daughter of the late Otha and Faye (Pipkin) Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rock Fitzgerald. Mrs. Fitzgerald retired from the Physical Therapy Department at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center after 30 years of service. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Katie) Adams of Yukon, OK, and Bruce (LaDonna) Skiver, of Farmington, a daughter, Deborah (Mrs. Jesse) Bequette, aunt, Edith Tawfall, uncle, Joseph Pipkin, all of Farmington, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Numerous cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2006. Visitation will resume on Monday at 7:30 a.m. A funeral service will held at the Cozean Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Monday with Pastor Cleo Counts officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
