Betty Faye Jagars

Betty Faye Jagars, of Farmington, passed away March 2, 2015, at the age of 47. She was born in Farmington on March 23, 1967 to the late George and Joyce (Ketcherside) Goforth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two nephews. Betty held a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and had worked as an Registered Nurse in the health care industry for twenty years. She was an avid Cardinal fan who enjoyed going to games. Her husband Pat was instrumental in teaching her how to watch and enjoy football. In addition to being a sports fan she also liked fishing and playing bingo. However, her favorite pastime of all time was spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all of her loved ones including her husband of nine years, Pat Jagars; her children, Nathan Schwent, Jessica Weaver and step-daughter, Amanda Kieckbusch; five grandchildren, Kayden, Hunter, Landon, Isabella and Wyatt; two brothers, Josh (Dorinda) Goforth and David (Stacy) Goforth; special friend and cousin, Bobbie Jo Goforth; special friend, Denise Hedrick and a host of other extended family and friends. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday morning, March 5 from 9 - 11 a.m. followed by the funeral beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike Barton officiating. Interment will follow at the Leadwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Cozean Memorial Chapel to help defray funeral expenses.
