Bette Sue Gray

FARMINGTON Bette "Susie" Sue Gray of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2023, at her home at the age of 75. She was born on March 7, 1948, to the late Charles and Beulah (Hennrich) Gray. Susie is survived by her sisters, Karen (Robert) Ritter of Aspen, CO, Jean Horn of Lexington, NC, and Dawn (Patrick) Lindhardt of Bakersville, NC, along with six nieces and two nephews and many friends. Susie graduated with a Masters degree from Fontbonne University. She had several careers throughout her life; she worked on the family farm as a farmhand, as a photographer for Washington University and was an aid for the St. Francois County Childrens Home. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, wood carving, gardening, and quilting. She resided at Lake Perry and loved the lake life. Susie was an outgoing, kind, and generous person and will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Per Susies request, no formal services will be held.
