Beth Glore Hamlett Young

FARMINGTON Beth Glore Hamlett Young of Farmington passed away November 11, 2021 at Evelyns House in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 44. She was born May 21, 1977 in Farmington to Sherry Stroupe and Timothy L. Glore, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother Timothy L. Glore, Jr.; her grandparents, Andrew and Margie Stroupe, Ernest Glore and Christine Sebastian and George and Edna Rolens; and an infant grandchild, Baby Hamlett. Beth was a 1995 graduate of Farmington High School and she went on to attend Mineral Area College where she studied nursing. She was employed for many years in the Home Health Care industry. Her favorite pastime was crafting and she enjoyed spending a lot of time at the local Hobby Lobby. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. Her grandson, Preston was the light of her life and she loved spending time with him. Her family will remember her for always being there for anyone when they needed her. Survivors include her husband, Steve Young; her children, James Hamlett and Andrew Hamlett; her step-sons, Steven Young and Kyle Lindsey; her parents, Sherry Stroupe and Timothy L. (Kim) Glore, Sr.; grandsons, Preston Hamlett and Aiden Lindsey, and one on the way; her siblings, Hagen Stroupe and Harlan Stroupe; step sisters, Becky Waggner and Jessica Hoyt; and her niece, Hailey Nichole Glore. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at 7 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the VFW of Leadington, Missouri.
