Bernice Elizabeth Mueller

BLOOMSDALE - Bernice Elizabeth Mueller of Bloomsdale, passed away, Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 81 years. She was born November 26, 1933 at Weingarten daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Sophia Anne (Labruyere) Huber. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Anna Schwartz and Irene Huber. On August 11, 1956 she was married to Ralph Anthony Mueller at Our Lady Help of Christians Church at Weingarten and the couple made their home near Bloomsdale. For several years she worked as a sewer for the Rice-Stix Shirt Factory at Ste. Genevieve after which she became a full-time homemaker, devoting her time to caring for her family. She was a faithful member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Bloomsdale and was active in the Lake Forest Sewing & Quilting Club. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her husband of 59 years Ralph Anthony Mueller of Bloomsdale, a son Mark (& Tinea) Mueller of Farmington, two grandchildren Kelsey Green and Stefani Hogan, and numerous other relatives, neighbors and dear friends. Per Bernice's request her body has been gifted for medical research. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father William C. Thess at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Bloomsdale. The family has requested memorials be made to Masses or St. Agnes Parish.
