Bell De Lisa "Blue Bell" Wisdom

Blue Bell Wisdom of Farmington passed away in her home on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at the age of 101 years. She was born November 13, 1910, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late Elmer and Fannie Tate. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Wisdom, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Karrel Wisdom and his wife Jackie and Jerry Wisdom; two granddaughters, Nancy Wisdom and De Lisa Kenagy; a son-in-law, Jack Nuckolls and four brothers and two sisters. Blue Bell as everyone knew her, grew up in Dell, Arkansas. She married Manuel Wisdom on July 2, 1932. She and Manuel had six children. She moved to Farmington in 1993 and enjoyed attending the New Life Fellowship. In her spare time she was a quilter and a gardener. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards with old friends and especially she loved being a mom. Survivors include her children, Gerald Wisdom and wife Suzie, DeLores (Do Dee) Vessell and Joyce Nuckolls, all of Farmington; Larry Wisdom of the State of Texas; a daughter-in-law, Consondra Wisdom of Park Hills; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her church family whom she loved dearly. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 9. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning beginning at 7 a.m. with the service to follow at 10 a.m. with Chaplain Mindy Kiepe officiating. Interment will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
