Becky Renee Treece-Hargis of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at her residence, following a long battle with cancer, at the age of 44 years, 11 months, and 8 days. She was born on October 14, 1964, at Manitou Springs, CO, daughter of Phyllis Maureen (McFarland) Treece and the late Billy Paul Treece Sr. She was a devoted member of the Farmington Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she worked with children, a calling very close to her heart. She worked in quality control at Little Tikes Manufacturing Co. in Farmington. Becky enjoyed antique hunting, studying genealogy, story telling, and living life to its fullest. She especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Maureen (McFarland) Treece, husband Charlie Hargis; two daughters, Nicole (Tommie) Treece and Ciara (Jon) Self, grandchildren, Liam Self, Bijah Miller, Deja Robinson, Namari Carson, Maycee Michaelson; siblings Billy (Joann) Treece Jr., Debbie (Joe) Koenen, Robbin McBride; nephews, Scott and Drew Treece; nieces, Christina Treece, Rachel and Sarah Koenen; favorite uncle, Darrell (Janice) McFarland; and extended family, Andria (Bryan) Rawson, Colton Rawson, "Maxi-Boy," and many friends. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009. Visitation will resume Saturday at 7 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. at the Cozean chapel with Bishop Don Blum officiating. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery at Fredericktown.
