Barbara Lee Sherrill

Barbara "Bobbi" Lee Sherrill of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2021, at Ashbrook Manor at the age of 87. She was born on August 11, 1934, in Bismarck, Missouri to the late Thomas and Amanda Evelyn (Williams) Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sherrill and her siblings, Sadie Sales, Bernice Hargiss, Ralph Gibson, John Gibson, and Ethel Doss. Barbara is survived by her children, Elaine (husband, Don) Cunningham of Georgia, John (wife, Beverly) Sherrill of Doe Run, Mary (husband, John) Hickman of Doe Run, David (wife, Renee) Sherrill of Farmington. Her grandchildren, Wil Cunningham, Dana (husband, Michael) Doggett, John (wife, Amy) Sherrill, Amanda (husband, Tim) Sheets, Josh, (wife, Rebecca) Hickman, Ryan (wife, Jayna) Sherrill, and Erica (husband, Matthew) Porch, and 13 great grandchildren (Shelby, Brooklyn, Jordan, Olivia, Caden, Tucker, Hadley, Brylee, Brayden, Levi, Paisley, Carter, and Ella), along with nieces, nephews and many friends. Barbara was a wonderful wife and mother, spending her life caring for not only her own children, but many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a long-time member of the Church of God at Doe Run. She enjoyed cooking and canning, flower gardening, attending church events, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was fondly known as Goose, to not only her grandchildren, but to many others who had come to know and love her. She will be remembered as being loving and generous and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 5:00-8:oo pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14 at 10:00 am officiated by Reverend Gary Hall. Interment to follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Judes.
