Audrey Marie Gruner

FARMINGTON Audrey Marie Gruner, of Farmington, passed away September 25, 2017 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 94. She was born October 15, 1922 to the late John Kane Scofield and Annie Myrtle Beck. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Roy (RP) Gruner in 1994; sisters, Ivy Myril and Mary Ethel; and brothers, Claude and Billy.

Audrey was raised in Poplar Bluff where she graduated from high school. She worked for many years at Lindberg Cadillac in St. Louis before moving to Farmington where she was employed for 21 years at the Southeast Mental Health facility. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Park Hills and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling and playing games.

Survivors include her sister, Betty Buren and husband, Bill; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 29 from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 30 with the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Reverend Eddie Bone officiating. Interment will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart and Soul Hospice or First United Methodist Church of Park Hills.
