Audrey Jean Light of Farmington passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the age of 93. She was born on February 24, 1921, at Malden, MO, daughter of the late Bennie C. Glover and Gertrude (Huffstruller) Glover. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry J. Maples; a son, Roger Maples; a daughter, Susan Annette Anderson; an infant son, Bobbie Joe; a brother, Virgil Glover and two sisters, Agnes "Snooks" and Mable Doolittle. "Peedee" as most knew her grew up in the Boot Heel of Missouri and relocated to the Farmington area many years ago. Raising a large family, Peedee quickly became a wonderful cook. Her sense of humor was always apparent even in stressful situations. In her spare time she enjoyed garage sales and her beloved pets. Survivors include her two children, Shirley Moore of Farmington and Ronnie (Gloria) Maples of St. Mary; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Glover; nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 7 at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Hospital for Children.
