Arthur Melvin Gray

Arthur Melvin "Buzz" Gray of Angleton, TX, formerly of Farmington, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX at the age of 63 years. He was born January 15, 1949 at Davenport, IA, son of the late Harry and Alma (Bone) Gray. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Randall Gray. Buzz grew up in the Farmington area, and worked as a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and woodworking with his brother Harry Lee. Buzz was a friend to everyone he met, and will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him including his son, Greg Gray of Park Hills, grandson Tristan Gray, brother Harry Lee Gray of Angleton, TX, sister Nancy Barnes of Steelville, four aunts, Mickie Payne of Desloge, Mabel O'Farrell and Melba Martinez both of Farmington, and Ruth Lawson of Branson. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive. A memorial service will be held at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Jay Lacey officiating.
